My favorite money saving stories are the ones where the person saving the money, also gets to help out someone less fortunate. My friend Sheryl is a bargain Queen :) I told you about her great thrift store shopping trip a few weeks ago. I saw her yesterday, and she was telling me about a program that is offered at her favorite thrift store located at Campbell and Division. That store has what is called "spot the pocket". If you find an item with a pocket tag on it, the item is FREE. On her last trip, she spotted the pocket on a pair of little girls' jeans. Sheryl has a very handsome grown son, and a lovely daughter and grandson, but no little girls. She picked up the jeans and plans to donate them to the PTA clothing bank.
